Job Title: Head Cook / Junior Cook

Position Type: Full-Time

Job Description:
We are seeking skilled and passionate Cooks to join our kitchen team, including both a Head Cook and a Junior Cook. As a Head Cook, you will lead the kitchen operations and ensure the delivery of high-quality dishes to our guests. As a Junior Cook, you will assist the kitchen team in food preparation and maintaining kitchen cleanliness. Your culinary expertise, teamwork, and dedication to creating delightful dining experiences will contribute to the success of our restaurant.

Head Cook Responsibilities:
Plan and manage the kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and plating.
Lead and supervise kitchen staff, ensuring efficient workflow and teamwork.
Develop and execute menu items, following recipes and ensuring consistency.
Monitor food quality, presentation, and taste to maintain high standards.
Manage inventory, ordering, and storage of kitchen supplies and ingredients.
Ensure adherence to food safety and sanitation regulations.
Collaborate with management to create new dishes and seasonal menus.
Train and mentor kitchen staff, providing guidance and professional development.
Handle kitchen administrative tasks, such as scheduling and cost control.

Junior Cook Responsibilities:
Assist with food preparation, cooking, and plating under the guidance of senior kitchen staff.
Follow recipes and instructions to prepare dishes consistently.
Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area.
Assist in cleaning and sanitizing kitchen equipment and utensils.
Support the kitchen team in various tasks as needed.
Learn and develop culinary skills under the guidance of experienced cooks.
Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines.
Qualifications:

Head Cook:
Previous experience as a Head Cook or Sous Chef is preferred.
Culinary degree or relevant culinary training is a plus.
Strong leadership and communication skills.
Creative and innovative approach to menu development.
Knowledge of food safety regulations and kitchen best practices.

Junior Cook:
Previous experience in a kitchen or culinary setting is preferred.
Enthusiasm to learn and develop culinary skills.
Ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately.
Positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team.
