We are seeking an experienced and skilled Butcher to join our supermarket team and provide high-quality meat products to our customers. As a Butcher, you will play a vital role in ensuring the proper cutting, preparation, and display of meats while maintaining the highest standards of food safety and customer service. Your knowledge of meat cutting techniques, attention to detail, and dedication to quality will contribute to the success of our supermarket’s meat department.

Responsibilities:
Receive, inspect, and store incoming meat products.
Prepare and cut various meats according to customer requests and specifications.
Create appealing meat displays, ensuring proper packaging and labeling.
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the meat preparation area.
Ensure compliance with food safety and health regulations.
Assist customers in selecting and choosing meats and providing cooking advice.
Manage inventory levels and order meat products as needed.
Keep track of expiration dates and rotate products to minimize waste.
Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth supermarket operations.

Qualifications:
Previous experience as a Butcher or in a similar role is required.
Strong knowledge of different meat cuts, preparation techniques, and food safety.
Excellent knife skills and precision in meat cutting.
Attention to detail and commitment to providing quality products.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Strong customer service and communication skills.
Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects.
High school diploma or equivalent.
