Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused Help Desk Specialist to join our IT support team. As a Help Desk Specialist, you will be the first point of contact for our employees’ technical issues and inquiries, providing timely and effective support. If you have strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and a commitment to ensuring the smooth operation of our technology systems, we encourage you to apply and become an integral part of our IT support team.

Responsibilities:
Provide technical assistance and support to employees via phone, email, or chat.
Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues.
Escalate complex problems to appropriate IT staff when necessary.
Document and track technical support requests in a help desk system.
Resolve issues within established time frames and service level agreements.
Install and configure software applications and updates.
Assist in the setup and maintenance of computer systems and peripherals.
Educate users on basic troubleshooting and best practices.
Follow IT procedures and protocols for security and compliance.
Contribute to knowledge base articles for common issues and solutions.

Qualifications:
Previous experience in a help desk or technical support role is preferred.
Strong technical aptitude and familiarity with various operating systems.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Customer-focused attitude with patience and empathy.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
Basic knowledge of networking and remote support tools.
Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified Professional) are a plus.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field is preferred.
