Job Title: Sales Supervisor – Supermarket

Job Description:
We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Sales Supervisor to join our supermarket team. The Sales Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the daily sales operations, managing a team of sales associates, and ensuring an exceptional customer experience. The successful candidate should possess strong leadership skills, a solid understanding of retail operations, and a passion for delivering outstanding customer service.

Responsibilities:
Supervise and lead a team of sales associates, providing guidance, coaching, and support as needed.
Monitor and maintain inventory levels, ensuring product availability and proper stock management.
Set sales targets for the team and devise strategies to achieve them.
Oversee the implementation of promotional activities and sales campaigns.
Ensure that the sales floor is well-maintained, organized, and stocked at all times.
Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and issues promptly and professionally.
Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to the sales team.
Collaborate with the management to develop and implement effective sales and customer service policies.
Maintain a thorough understanding of the supermarket’s products, promotions, and pricing.
Uphold company standards for cleanliness, safety, and compliance with regulations.

Requirements:
Proven experience in a retail sales or supervisory role, preferably in a supermarket setting.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Sound knowledge of inventory management and sales techniques.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Proficiency in using point-of-sale (POS) systems and other retail software.
High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in Business Administration or related field is a plus.
Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices is desirable.
